Our AAA Majors season came to an end this weekend in the Little League Alberta Divisional Championship semifinal with a hard-fought 4-3 loss.
While the result wasn't what we hoped for, these boys have absolutely nothing to hang their heads about. They played their hearts out from first pitch to last, showcasing outstanding defense, determination, teamwork, and resilience every step of the way.
What made us most proud wasn't just the baseball they played—it was the way they represented Bow Ridge. This team competed with class, respect, and exceptional sportsmanship throughout the season and championship weekend. They supported one another, respected their opponents, and carried themselves in a way that reflects everything youth sports should be about.
To our players: be incredibly proud of what you accomplished. You represented your team, your families, and your community with character both on and off the field.
A huge thank you to our parents and families for your unwavering support, positive encouragement, and for cheering with the same class and sportsmanship that our players showed all season long.
And a special thank you to our coaches and team manager for the countless hours, dedication, patience, and commitment you gave this group throughout the summer. Your leadership helped make this season one these players will never forget.
Congratulations, AAA Majors. The score may say 4-3, but the way you competed and represented Bow Ridge was a true victory.
